GM RECORDS Marek Grela, WARSAW, POLAND
Completes IRMA Anti-Piracy Compliance Program

April 10, 2007 - SPAARNDAM, THE NETHERLANDS - GM Records, Poland, has been certified under the internationally approved Anti-Piracy Compliance Program of IRMA, the Content Delivery and Storage Association.

The IRMA Anti-Piracy Compliance Program (APCP) is well established in Europe, North and South America, South Africa and Asia. GM Records is proud to have its operations certified to the IRMA Anti Piracy Program as first optical media manufacturer in Poland.

Marek Grela – owner: "APCP is another very important element of our corporate development strategy. Satisfaction of our clients and appreciation of the highest quality services is our main priority. Certainly granted certificate will allow us to achieve new contracts and increase the list of our satisfied customers. GM Records being the IRMA APCP certified plant is a double success for us. Firstly, we are the first and only certified plant in Poland, and secondly we were granted the IRMA APCP certificate after the audit resulted with none non-conformances or remarks, and that doesn’t happen often."

Including the recently certified GM Records plant, 80 facilities have earned and/or maintain Anti-Piracy Compliancy worldwide. For a complete list of IRMA’s official participating plants visit www.recordingmedia.org/antipiracy/antipiracy-status.cfm

Theo G. Köhler, European Director of the Anti-Piracy Compliance Program confirmed that the industry’s first set of international anti-piracy standards for replicators is a major step in assisting record labels, movie studios, computer software and game content owners to identify replicators that have implemented a program to prevent the inadvertent replication of unauthorized pre-recorded media.

Köhler added, "It is very encouraging to note that GM Records joins the continuously growing number of certified plants in the Anti-Piracy Compliance Program. As the first Polish plant being certified it recognized again Irma’s APCP as the industry’s only certification program that helps manufacturers of pre-recorded media reduce the risk of publishing pirated material, thereby protecting the intellectual property rights of their customers on all audio, video and data carriers."
