Richard, as Vice President of Anti-Piracy, is responsible for orchestrating The Walt Disney Studio’s global battle against content theft – be it piracy of movies, music, television, or other products of the Studio. This includes close work with other elements of Disney, the MPA/A, other Studios, and other owners of Intellectual Property under attack by piracy. Ultimately, it is a role that serves as a catalyst and coordination point on the Piracy topic for all the various contributors to the anti-piracy effort. Prior to this role, Richard spent 5 years as a "Disney Imagineer" at Walt Disney Imagineering– with the responsibility of creatively infusing emerging technologies into Disney’s world-renown theme parks all over the world.Prior to Disney, Richard was the Chief Communications Technologist for Northrop Grumman Corporation – where he spent 15 years as a communications technology strategist and briefer of highly complex and classified concepts (such as the area of "stealth aircraft") to the top levels of US and other governments.
