Security Standards & Procedures

Part of the CDSA Anti-Piracy Compliance Program (APCP), the CDSA Post Production Facilities Anti-Piracy - Security Standards & Procedures have been developed by a task force representing Post Production Facilities and suppliers to Intellectual Property owners along the supply chain.

These Standards specify requirements for security management applied by content production, compression, encoding, and authoring organizations in post production that contribute to the security of video and audio content from front end production to delivery. They focus on the security measures that content production, compression, encoding, and authoring organizations must implement to minimize the risk of content being released prior to the official release date, and of piracy of intellectual property.

As the Standards specify minimum requirements for maintaining the security measures and anti-piracy safeguards to protect intellectual property, content creators and intellectual property rights holders should find it suitable for the assessment a post production facility's content security management system.
